To add a list of colours to an option so they can be selected when creating a tender please follow the below steps;

NOTE: SOME OF THESE STEPS REQUIRE DATABASE ACCESS, IF YOU DO NOT USE THE DATABASE PLEASE DISCUSS WITH YOUR CLICKHOME CONSULTANT FOR ASSISTANCE.

1. Add entries in the database for each colour using tblValidationEntries.

Each colour will be grouped into a colour list.

e.g. COLOURBOND - Colour list

SURFMIST = Colour

insert into tblValidationEntries
(fkidBusinessUnit, cdValidCode, sgDisplay)
values (0, ['COLOURLIST'], ['COLOUR'])

e.g.

insert into tblValidationEntries
(fkidBusinessUnit, cdValidCode, sgDisplay)
values (0, 'COLOURBOND', 'Berry Blue')

2. Go to Silverlight > Admin > Tenders > Options

Select the option you want to add the colour list to.

Click on Details and go to the Option Details tab.

Enter the colour list keyword in the colour list field.

Save

3. Go to the tender.

Select the option.

In pane 3 there is a drop down list for Option Colour.

Select the colour from the list.

Save

4. In SQL the tenderoptionselection will have sgSelectedColour populated with that colour.

Adding colours to lists in the frontend:

In order to add the lists into the frontend in Silverlight please add a validation entry for each list as per below:

insert into tblValidationEntries
(cdValidCode, sgDisplay, sgvalue, fkidBusinessUnit)
values('MASTERT', '[COLOURLISTNAME1]', 'COLOURLISTNAME2',0)

- COLOURLISTNAME1 = The text you want to appear for the colour list in Silverlight e.g. CL: Wall Tile Grout Colours

- COLOURLISTNAME2 = A short name for the list 'WTGrout' (as there is a restriction on the length of this field)

e.g.

insert into tblValidationEntries
(cdValidCode, sgDisplay, sgvalue, fkidBusinessUnit)
values('MASTERT', 'Cl: Wall Tile Grout Colours', 'WTGrout',0)
