Sales commitments can be actioned and managed in both MobileLeads and Silverlight interfaces.

They are a way of commiting a Lead to purchase a package or land and in some cases they can be uncommited.

Sometimes the spec sale will already be in the shortlist for the Lead and other times it won't.

This doesn't make a difference in MobileLeads however in Silverlight the spec sale needs to be recorded as an interest first.

Using MobileLeads to commit to buy;

  • Go to a lead
  • Go to the Spec Sales tab
  • Using the list of spec sales click on the row in the table (which will open a popup box with more details about the contract)
  • In this popup you will be able to 'Commit to Buy'
  • After you have done this the Commitment will be added to the 'Commitments' list on the right

Using MobileLeads to uncommit;

  • Go to a lead
  • Go to the Spec Sales tab
  • In the list of 'Commitments' on the right hand side select the commitment you wish to uncommit
  • In the popup window click on 'Uncommit'*

    *If you do not have the 'uncommit' button the spec sale is either a preconstruction contract where the land is not for sale (so the sale has already been processed) or you do not have the correct permission and in that case you need to contact your relevant ClickHome contact.

    After Commit to buy is used there are 1 of 3 things that will happen;

    1. If the spec sale is for a preconstruction contract (Presite) and the land is not for sale; only 1 commitment is allowed and 'process sale' (functionality only available in Silverlight) is NOT used as it is sold when commited
    2. If the spec sale is for a preconstruction contract (Presite) and the land is for sale; multiple commitments are allowed and 'process sale' (functionality only available in Silverlight) is used to finalise the purchase
    3. If the spec sale is a House and Land or Land contract, multiple commitments are allowed and 'process sale' (functionality only available in Silverlight) is used to finalise the purchase.
