Job Types
There are 5 job types in ClickHome.
- Land - tracking sales opportunities and obligations, and the workflow to prepare and process necessary sales documentation - managed Automatically according to the Template.
- Lead - tracking a sales force automation process - guiding your sales team step by step to manage sales performance - managed Automatically according to the Template.
- Preconstruction - workflow and job tracking for contract preparation, administrator, prestart, estimating and scheduling - managed Automatically according to the Template, with assistance by a Contract Admin.
- Construction - workflow/callsheet with all tasks and steps to coordinate on site construction activity between suppliers, trades and the company - managed by Supervisors.
- Maintenance - mostly dynamically generated according to the requirements of maintenance issues raised - managed by the Maintenance Supervisors.
The Contract Status allow progression of the job through various stages at a high level. It is also used to control access to jobs based on their status, and filtering in workload and other metrics.
Contract Status by Job Type
Land
Code | Status | Land |
P | Pending | Land is not committed, reviewing and preparing. |
A | Active | Land is active, should be available for sale. |
F | Finalizing | Deposit or some other commitment. |
M | Maintenance | Not Applicable. |
C | Closed | Contract signed, sales person no longer involved. |
H | Hold | On Hold - the Client is delaying, but temporarily.. no commitment either way. Typically does not require active management to progress. |
S | Stopped | Stopped - there is a critical issue that requires active management to progress. |
X | Cancel | Lead Lost - keep the clients details, but this lead failed. |
Lead
Code | Status | Leads |
P | Pending | A Prospect, the lead is new and has not been qualified. |
A | Active | An Active Lead that has been qualified. |
F | Finalizing | Deposit or some other commitment. Preconstruction should commence. |
M | Maintenance | Under review, being managed by a Sales Manager -for determining next action, or cancel/lost. |
C | Closed | Contract signed, sales person no longer involved. |
H | Hold | On Hold - the Client is delaying, but temporarily.. no commitment either way. Typically does not require active management to progress. |
S | Stopped | Stopped - there is a critical issue that requires active management to progress. |
X | Cancel | Lead Lost - keep the clients details, but this lead failed. |
Preconstruction

P | Pending | Not Applicable. |
A | Active | Active Preconstruction - much work will be done on this Job. |
F | Finalizing | Contract Signed, and scheduling completed. The job is ready for Construction, and may be in the Construction queue. Other work may remain as administration tasks. |
M | Maintenance | Construction completed. The job is ready to be closed, but stays online for additional customer service functions. |
C | Closed | Closed - the job is now in Long term Warranty. |
H | Hold | On Hold - the Client is delaying, but temporarily.. no commitment either way. Typically does not require active management to progress. |
S | Stopped | Stopped - there is a critical issue that requires active management to progress. |
X | Cancel | Contract Lost - keep the clients details for future reference, but this one is finished. |
Construction
Code | Status | Construction |
P | Pending | Ready for Construction. Waiting on Information from the field, or or suitable window of opportunity to commence. Often used to undertake site surveys and photos prior to commencement. |
A | Active | The job has commenced in Construction. |
F | Finalizing | The job has reach practical completion and only minor fixes and preparation for handover. |
M | Maintenance | Job has been handed over - it is still under the first period or maintenance, not yet in Long term Warranty. |
C | Closed | Closed - the job is now in Long term Warranty. |
H | Hold | The job is on hold - typically not requiring active management. |
S | Stopped | The Job is stopped - a critical issue such as payment or other factors may be preventing progress. Active management would be expected. |
X | Cancel | The Contract was lost - the job is no longer applicable. |
Maintenance

P | Pending | Maintenance job raised by process or by client, capturing the issues. |
A | Active | The job ready to be resolved by Maintenance Team. |
F | Finalizing | Job ready for review and sign off by the client. |
M | Maintenance | Not Applicable. |
C | Closed | Closed - the job is now in Long term Warranty. |
H | Hold | The job is on hold - typically not requiring active management. |
S | Stopped | The Job is stopped - a critical issue such as payment or other factors may be preventing progress. Active management would be expected. |
X | Cancel | The Contract was lost - the job is no longer applicable. |
Changing Status - A Review Date is Required for changing Status To Hold or To Stopped.
